Job Opportunities in the High Energy Physics Group
The Imperial College London High Energy Physics group has a strong experimental programme encompassing the CMS and LHCb experiments at the LHC and the T2K experiment in Japan. The group is also active in searches for Dark Matter, SuperNEMO, LISA, the development of detectors for future experiments and has an active accelerator programme.
Within the group, there is a strong tradition of detector development and construction, which has led to key activities in the above experiments. These now extend to prototypes for the electromagnetic calorimeter appropriate for a future linear collider detector. The Group is also active in Grid computing developments. Further details of the group's programme may be found on our research page.
Periodically the group has vacancies for Research Associate positions of one or two years initial duration. Salary, depending on qualifications and experience, is currently in the range £36,800 - £44,220 including London allowance.
