Asad Mehmood

Asad Mehmood received his bachelor’s degree in Physical Chemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan, and PhD in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), South Korea. His PhD research work was focused on the development of high performance and durable electrode structures for low temperature fuel cells and evaluation of catalyst aging phenomena in fuel cell durability operations. His current research is mainly focused on the development of carbon-based catalyst materials for electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems. At Imperial College, he is involved in the Crescendo Project that aims at the development of highly active and durable non-precious electrocatalysts for the PEMFC cathode.
