Projects which involve the NHS; patients, premises, staff or data, are considered by HRA Research Ethics Committees

Education studies in which Imperial College undergraduate medical students are recruited should be reviewed by the Medical Education Ethics Committee (MEEC)

Research which involves animals, should be reviewed by the Animal Welfare and Ethical Review Body (AWERB)

If a study is not research i.e. it is an evaluation or audit then the Education Ethics Review Process can review the application (EERP)
