Anthony Houghton is a PhD student starting in October 2017. He received B.S. Degree in Physics with First Class Honours at University of Dundee and did research on growth and characterisation of methylammonium lead halide perovskite single crystals using numerous methods including PXRD, SEM, EDX, X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy and UV-vis-NIR spectroscopy. He just completed his MSc degree in the department working on synthesis and characterisation of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). His PhD research will focus on design and synthesis of microporous materials for energy applications.
